Empowering families and individuals to improve their financial well-being through housing counseling, credit counseling, financial education, and employment preparation. 

METEC works with families across a seven-county area from our offices on West Krause Avenue in Peoria. Our services assist community members find or keep a home, learn a new skill, improve their credit score, file their taxes, access legal support, and more. You can count on us to help connect you to the resources you need, whether that is in our office or referred to another agency. METEC is a service organization. We exist to help individuals and families, and in turn build a stronger community.
