Snyder Village

Snyder Village is a life plan community located at the edge of the village of Metamora, IL, about 20 minutes from Peoria. We offer a continuum of care that ranges from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care. Snyder Village Home Care also supports residents who need a little extra help in their own homes. Our 40+ acre campus includes retirement cottages and apartments, beautiful assisted living accommodations, and a caring and skilled health center with 24/7 nursing care. Memory Care is also part of the specialized services we offer. Therapy Services support our residents as well as those from our community on an out-patient basis.

We are strongly committed to our residents, clients, and their families. All decisions are made with the well-being of our residents in mind. We remain committed to our mission of providing for the physical, emotional, & spiritual needs of others in a loving, dignified, & Christian atmosphere. Snyder Village is involved with the surrounding community through sponsorship of local events and the building of relationship with small businesses, schools, and civic organizations. Many individual and group volunteers get involved by serving in the Snyder Village bistros, helping with activities, assisting with fundraising events, and much more.

Snyder Village is always looking for wonderful people of all ages to lend a helping hand! Our volunteers help with bingo, delivering mail, planning and putting on birthday parties, special outings, visiting with residents, taking residents to and from their rooms and the dining area, and much more. A Snyder Village volunteer has the opportunity to impact the lives of our residents. All volunteers are provided with a volunteer handbook and are invited to attend our annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon. You will have the satisfaction of supporting the Snyder Village mission of serving others and the appreciation of the residents at Snyder Village.
