What: Heart of Illinois Volunteer Administrators (HOIVA) Summer Speaker Series

We go by many different titles and come from a variety of backgrounds including fundraising, marketing, teaching, social work, HR, and more ... yet very few of us thought of volunteer engagement as our intended profession. Gretchen Jordan, CVA, will share how our work is critical to the nonprofit organizations we support. Association Manager for AL!VE, Gretchen will provide insights into the profession of volunteer management and administration while inspiring us with how the spirit of volunteering fosters collaboration and networking, promotes professional development, and provides advocacy for leaders in community engagement.
