Show your support for the LGBTQIA community by volunteering at the River City Pride Festival! Held at Riverfront Park it is a day-long event of engaging programming and festivities to support awareness of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and allied (LGBTQIA) community of Peoria and the greater Central Illinois area.
There are numerous volunteer shifts throughout the day, most of which are four (4) hours in length.
- 7:00am to 11:00am - Finalizing table set up, decorating, hanging banners, checking in vendors and entertainers.
- 9:00am to 1:00pm
- 12:00pm to 4:00pm
- 2:00pm to 6:00pm
- 5:00pm to 9:00pm
- 6:00pm to 10:00pm - Help may be requested with directing parking for vendors to load up, break down tables.
- 8:00pm to 11:00pm - Main Stage show, tear down.
Other volunteer tasks include greeting, ticket collection, vendor hospitality, Family Zone activities, hospitality zone, and cooling zone.
