Pride is quickly approaching, which means Central Illinois Friends is seeking volunteers for Pride events in Central Illinois!
PLEASE NOTE! Opportunities are available most weekends this summer, throughout the United Way service area! Central Illinois Friends staff will follow up with more specific event details for any opportunities that you sign up for.
We are seeking Outreach Volunteers to serve as Table Reps to assist our clinical team with encouraging event attendees. As a table Rep, you have the responsibility of providing sexual health education to our community and promoting the free programs and services of Central Illinois Friends.
We are looking for outgoing and welcoming friends who like to chat about sexual health, HIV prevention, and the importance of getting tested. Volunteers will get the chance to talk with community members from a diverse range of backgrounds and ages.
If you have clinical skills/certifications that you would be willing to volunteer, such as phlebotomy or RN/LPN, please note this in your volunteer registration! For questions about clinical volunteering, please email Becca Mathis, Director of Clinical Services, at Becca@CentralIllinoisFriends.org
