Help teens and pre-teens "test drive" their ideal adult life in this fun and interactive youth event in its 9th year!
Teens aged 11-18 will choose a career, receive a pretend paycheck, and then have to navigate a monthly to-do list of paying bills and making decisions. We need volunteers to run the many game booths where students might be tempted into a new sports car or puppy, spin a wheel of unexpected positive and negative events, choose the best housing situation for their family and much more!
Ideal volunteers will be friendly and patient, and able to help students keep track of their finances (with some help from a calculator). Small teams are also welcome to assist. The event is open to the public from 10-3 on 7/11, so we are asking for volunteers from 9:30 - 3:30, or for shorter shifts within that time frame.
