ACTIVITY SUMMARY:
The Salvation Army Child Care Center is looking for a GROUP of volunteers to assist with cleaning and organization related tasks including the following:
- pick up and organization of each classroom
- wiping down and sanitizing toys
- wiping down and sanitizing tables and chairs
- re-organizing materials in shelves, cabinets, etc. and wiping down shelves and cabinets
- general cleaning in bathrooms
- general cleaning tasks: vacuuming floors, mopping floors, etc.
Qualifications:
- Ability to bend down, reach overhead, kneel, push and pull objects as it relates to cleaning and organizing tasks.
This would be a perfect opportunity for a business group looking for a team-building activity, or even a school group looking for a service project!
Once you sign up for the volunteer activity, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to confirm your volunteer assignment. You will be asked to complete a volunteer application on The Salvation Army's volunteer site.
