Veteran's Haven is located at 711 NE Monroe Street in Peoria, IL. We are in need of 15-20 volunteers for about 4 hours, who are willing to do some heavy lifting and take on the following tasks:
Apply some wood stain to our wood planking and support boards on our ADA ramp, replace some wood planks and stain our back porch, clean out gutters, rake pine needles - leaves - twigs, pull/cut weeds, saw off low hanging branches, pull out landscape trim and apply new rock in efforts to extend our rock garden, and finally move pavers from our porch to the driveway.
We will supply rock, paper refuse bags for leaves & twigs, ladders, wood-planking, wood stain, brushes and buckets for stain.
Please Note: We do NOT have a chain saw for the low hanging branches.
