Volunteer with Bradley SERVE on Saturday, April 26th with Peoria Humane Society!
Volunteers will be helping spread mulch on the dog trails behind the Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS).
***Due to the nature of this event, the following is recommended: wear closed toe shoes, long pants, bring a water bottle (water will be provided to volunteers during breakfast).
The Peoria Humane Society (PHS) and Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS) work together to support animal welfare in the Peoria area. PHS, a non-profit, focuses on preventing cruelty and overpopulation through education and care, while PCAPS, the county's animal control, enforces ordinances and runs the local shelter. They collaborate to rescue, care for, and rehome animals, ultimately aiming for a safer and more humane community for both pets and people.
On the day of, volunteers should arrive in Markin by 10:30am.
