Volunteers are needed to help greet and assist off-campus guests to and from the Main Street Parking Deck and Hayden Clark Alumni Center's Peplow Pavilion.
Volunteers can pick one or two shifts. The shifts are 6:00pm-7:15pm and 8:30pm-9:30pm.
The event you are volunteering for is sponsored by OLLI, Institute for Principled Leadership, and the Dirksen Center. Robert H. Michel: Leading the Republican House Minority by the book's co-editors Frank H. Mackaman and Sean Q Kelly, who will be joined by the Honorable Ray LaHood. Michel served in the U.S. Congress for thirty-eight years and is the longest serving Republican leader in the history of the U.S. House of Representatives. Bob Michel is an alumni of Bradley University. The presentation will be moderated by Chris Kaergard of the Peoria Journal Star and the event will be covered by C-SPAN nationally as a part of their book series.
