The Arthritis Foundation’s original Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get decked out and be festive, while racing to raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability. The event includes a 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk, and Kid’s Fun Run.
The Arthritis Foundation supports the 50 million Americans who suffer from this disease. Arthritis is the number one cause of disability in the country. 1 in every 5 adults, 300,000 children, and countless families face this awful disease. The Arthritis Foundation provides resources, access to optimal care, and hope to those living with Arthritis and related diseases.
Volunteers will help set up and tear down tables, signs, decorations, etc. They will also help cheer and direct participants along the course. Volunteers will be needed both inside (registration, food, awards) and outside (course, finish line). Please dress warm. If the weather is unsafe, due to a storm or a high amount of snow, the event will only be indoors and volunteers will be notified.
We could not pull off this event without our wonderful volunteers! If you have any questions, please contact Monica at mrauch@arthritis.org or (312) 883-6106 or visit http://JBR.org/Peoria
