Our Work

LifeLine Pilots provides no-cost air transportation to patients with low to moderate income who otherwise may be unable to travel to get the care they need. Medical care is expensive, and oftentimes life-saving procedures and surgeries can be prohibitively so.

Since 1981, LifeLine Pilots' volunteers have flown over 8,000 missions and five million nautical miles to some of the finest clinics and specialty hospitals in the Midwest - all with a 100% safety record! Headquartered in the Peoria, IL, we currently serve patients living in the following 10 states: Ohio, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Ways to Volunteer

We connect people in need with volunteer pilots who want to help. As a small organization, we are in need of volunteers to help with projects throughout the year. Projects include: mailing of outreach letters, donor mailing once a year, internet research (pilot organizations, health-care organizations), plus additional one-off projects.

Please contact Lindsey Kerr at (309) 369-1559 or missions@lifelinepilots.org.
