Our Work

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Tenth Judicial Circuit, formerly known as CASA of Peoria County, is a volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect and have pending cases in the Juvenile Abuse and Neglect Court system. Its existence is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe and permanent home allowing them the chance to reach their full potential in life.

Ways to Volunteer

CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supervises community volunteers to represent the best interest of a child who has experienced abuse or neglect as they move through the court system. The agency offers volunteer opportunities in the areas of child advocacy, public relations, fundraising, administrative support, event coordination, and more.
