Our Work

American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC) was founded by Danny Thomas in 1957 to be the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and its sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness necessary to operate and maintain the hospital.

 

Ways to Volunteer

We support the families and patients of St. Jude so that no family pays for anything, not for travel, treatment, housing or food because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. We also freely share our research discoveries so that one child saved at St. Jude means thousands saved world wide.
