Our Work

Our mission is to provide dignified end-of-life care and quality services that allow our patients and families/significant others to live life richly, deeply, and meaningfully for as long as it may last, and to die with dignity in the setting of their choice.

Ways to Volunteer

We provide full hospice services to patients and families in the area at contracted facilities and homes. Our team includes nurses, CNAs, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers who make regularly scheduled visits to support patients and families who are living with a terminal disease diagnosis. We also provide education to the public, attend volunteer fairs, and support veterans on hospice with the Veteran Program that includes certificate and pinning ceremony.

Students are able to act as Patient Care Volunteers and engage with hospice patients, converse, read, play music/videos on YouTube, take for a walk, or take outside in nice weather. They are good neighbors visiting patients weekly at nursing or assisted living facilities. Students can also act as Administrative Volunteers and help behind the scenes in our office with computer tasks, filing, scanning, data entry, and making binders for patients and families.
