We are seeking volunteers to help with our Prevention program's "Fall Festival Event" on Thursday, October 24th at our farmland location, Scott’s Prairie! Come be a part of this exciting event, filled with autumn activities and family-friendly fun. There will be around 45 families with 140 people coming out, so this is a great change to engage with our clients and staff at the Children's Home and see more of what we do.
Tasks include...
- Helping at the pumpkin painting station
- Assisting with hayrack rides
- Serving dinner and helping with s'mores
- Ensuring the kids stay safe and have fun
- Assisting with clean-up after dinner
Additional information...
- Arrival Time: Volunteers should arrive by 4:00pm and stay until approximately 6:30pm.
- Attire: Warm clothing and close-toed shoes. Feel free to wear fall or Halloween-themed attire!
- Refreshments: While refreshments will be provided for the families attending the event, volunteers are welcome to bring their own snacks or drinks if desired.
Come join us for a fun-filled evening and help make this event a success! Please email Danielle Cooley, at dcooley@chail.org, for more information.
