Winterizing our Gardens

We need to WINTERIZE our Sow to Grow Garden and our Phoenix Community Garden.  Both of our gardens are located on the corner of Perry and Wayne Streets in Peoria, IL.  We have 2 piles of mulch ready to be placed in the beds for protection against the winter elements.  We are looking for about 15 volunteers so 7 people can tackle our Sow to Grow Garden and 8 people can tackle our Phoenix Community Garden.  Both gardens are next to each other.  The tasks we will be doing is to trim down existing vegetation and put in yard bags or our compost barrel, distribute mulch onto all of our raised flower beds and planters for winter insolation.
