On the corner of Fayette and Madison Avenue sits a white building that is the future home to our Workforce Development Center, where we will be helping our consumers develop their skills to help secure employment. Our workforce development center will help our consumers align themselves with jobs that will help them build their work experience and increase their self sufficiency, positively affecting their overall health and stability.
How can you volunteer your time and efforts? We are looking for approximately 10 people who are not afraid to kick the dust up and remove some very old and thin carpeting on our second floor and part of our third floor. This project will require old clothes, a mask as to not breath in the dust and particles, a safety knife, and some good old fashioned muscle to cut the carpet and pull it up.
