Twice a month, Neighborhood House hosts a food pantry that has assisted ~150 individuals within the Peoria community. This volunteer position would help with the set up of the food pantry and would include the following tasks:
- Packing food pantry boxes
- Restocking shelves
- Small miscellaneous projects (repackaging food, wiping down tables, breaking down boxes, etc.)
This position has flexible hours, but usually occurs Monday-Wednesday before the food pantry on Thursday. It also requires heavy lifting up to 20 lbs. If you have any questions, contact Noah Palm at 309-674-1131 ext. 300 or noahp@nhpeoria.org.
